Make a Statement With a Gold Watch
Oh those glamorous and luxurious gold watches... they do so much more for you than simply just keeping the time. A great gold timepiece is something that will set you apart from the rest of the crowd. Like stepping out of a fabulous cherry red Lamborghini... a gold watch will say to the world that "you have arrived". Ok, maybe I'm being a bit melodramatic, but the truth is that gold is king and there is nothing more eye-catching that a beautiful gold watch. Did you know that you could afford one? Michael Kors watches come with that glittering gold look, but nowhere near the gutsy pricing of many other gold watch makers.
In fact, these timepieces start in price at about $200 and go up slightly from there. Michael Kors is a great designer maker of luxury goods, including watches. Their collections are fashionable and stylish without the stuffiness of some other old time watchmakers. The looks are fresh and chic and the quality solid and reputable. Of course, you could spend up in the 10's of thousands of dollars on a gold watch, but why? Unless you are looking for an investment piece, there really is no need to shell out that kind of money on a watch, even a gold one. So, how do they keep the price down? Plating; gold plating has been around for a long time and is an economical and efficient way to obtain that glamorous look without the added cost. No one really knows the difference and even if they do... they don't care.
I just ordered a fabulous Michael Kors Gold Showstopper watch and I love it. It's perfect for summer time and it shines just like I expected it would. Now, keep in mind that I wasn't in the market for a watch that I would one day pass down to my granddaughter, I just wanted a great looking gold watch for this season. The gold is a wonderful warm shade and as long as I keep my piece properly stored, it should look great for several years, at least. If I get tired of it in the fall I'll break out my black Movado Museum watch instead. The point is that you can make a bold statement with a great gold timepiece this season and not break the bank.
